本名Jack Revill的Jackmaster（Numbers）與Oneman（502）和Ben UFO（Hessle Audio）都同在Rinse FM主持也都各自經營著自己的廠牌但他們都不是Producer，回顧2011他們三人的確是主導著整個英國跳舞音樂圈將Dubstep轉變成Bass Music的重要推手之一，其中的Jackmaster在今年五月份交由Fabric發行的Fabriclive系列更是獲得了Bleep.com 2011年最佳合輯第一的殊榮，在這個重要時刻Resident Advisor也趁勝追擊邀請到Jackmaster為RA Podcast系列錄製了一段1小時40分的精彩Mix，透過Jackmaster的這段RA mix除了是可回顧他這一年外更是預先告知2012年英國跳舞音樂圈的走向。

RBMA（Red Bull Music Academy）在倫敦之眼車廂內另一組是正致力於Bass Music融合Chicago House、UK Garage發展的格拉斯哥廠牌Numbers的Jackmaster和Deadboy的B2B演出錄音。

The RBMA World Tour culminated its circumnavigation of the globe by taking over the biggest ferris wheel in Europe, the London Eye. In each of the 30 capsules, crucially influential producers, DJs and bands presented the latest in upfront London sounds making waves around the globe. 陸續與SBTRKT、Sampha、Joker、Oneman & Jackmaster等人合作之後，Jessie Ware對於多數人來說應該不會太陌生，她個人的首支單曲Strangest Feeling即將透過PMR廠牌（日前L-Vis 1990也才剛於此廠牌發行了的首張專輯Neon Dream）於下月11/28發行限量10"及數位兩種形式。

Rinse FM在稍早前已上傳完成格拉斯哥Bass Music廠牌Numbers Takeover本週二（8/30）4小時Special的Radio Show，當晚Jackmaster和Specner除了已公佈找來Hessle Audio的Ben UFO、Eglo的Floating Points加入外，在節目中途陸續加入有Joy Orbison、Pearson Sound和BOK BOK在節目裡，因為近期Rinse FM都不會在隔日就上傳前一日的節目，而且這次的又是整整4小時聽完要到早上八點實在累人，所以想透過預約的方式把整段4hr的節目錄下待隔日醒來在慢慢消化，但後來電腦進入修眠後只錄到約一個半小時宣告失敗，不過好加在這星期的Risne FM是有比較快速的將節目給上傳，總之和我一樣錯過當晚節目的請趕緊下載Rewind。

錯過由Boiler Room轉播本週一晚上（英國當地中午）由RED BULL MUSIC ACADEMY帶來的MAJOR LAZER AT NOTTING HILL CARNIVAL這場活動嗎，其中一段是自己覺得在當前最重要最該注目的焦點鐵定是由Oneman（502/Rinse FM）和Jackmaster（Numbers/Rinse FM）當天兩人B2B所帶來的精彩DJ Set，而在開頭由Jessie Ware登台唱她幫SBTRKT獻聲的Nervous一曲中唱到MAJOR LAZER I'm Nervous真是諷刺（有看當天MAJOR LAZER的整個DJ Set的話，你會瞭解），總之當天Oneman B2B Jackmster的DJ Set實況可在下方RMBA Radio播放器上Rewind。

本來要在去年底發行的Jamie xx - Fer Nearer因為歌中Vocal取樣了Janet Jackson發行於1989年的專輯Janet Jackson's Rhythm Nation 1814內一曲Love will never do (without you)的其中一段歌詞而處理版權問題延遲至今，終於在今日稍早前Numbers.偷偷的將它上架於廠牌上星期完成的自家購物網站Numbers Store的List中，4種形式MP3、WAVs、Vinyl+MP3、Vinyl+WAVs任君挑選（買膠片的話是免運費的）。
另外Jamie xx也會加入Jackmaster & Spencer本週二Rinse FM的Numbers.節目之中。

在2010年必聽Roska Roska Roska，那2011年絕對是FA FA FA Funkystepz。
被Fact選為10 Producers to Watch in 2011的Funkystepz，絕對會是喜歡UK Funky這音樂類型愛好者的新歡，本以為Funkystepz是ㄧ人制作但最近才曉得是三人團體，最新單曲Fuller在Kode 9、Jackmaster等DJ的放送下絕對是近期最令人期待之作（可透過下方Soundcloud播放器在4分鐘左右時聽到），也即將交由Hyperdub於今年二月情人節發行。

聽完Jackmaster的Fake x Tenisufki mix，就順便Youtube了一下Jackmaster的動態，看到了他在上星期Ustream Live裡的片段（因為Live當時已凌晨近四點多所以自己也就錯過），在這6分半的片段當中Jackmaster放的是Jamie Smith（The xx）混音自Gil Scott-Heron的New York Is Killing Me這首單曲，要命的是這單曲還需等待至2011年XL Recordings才會發行。

Jackmaster（Numbers.）為了本週五在波蘭當地服飾品牌Fake與潮流網站Tenisufki所主辦的活動而錄製的近30分鐘Minimix，音樂雖短但曲目卻是相當豪華，當中可以聽到Jackmaster帶來了Ramadanman所化身的另一單位Pearson Sound的新單曲Blanked（即將發行於Hessle Audio廠牌）、最近才發行新單曲Heartbaet的T. Young UK DJ/producer and Numbers label co-conspirator Jack "Jackmaster" Revill graced last week's Sónar festival in Barcelona with a stellar mix of the many kinds of bass music and future-house tunes propagated by his insanely talented cohorts. As with the DJ set Braiden dropped at the electronic music festival, Red Bull Music Academy was on the scene and recording Jackmaster's deck magic for the event—catching every brilliant tune and slick mix the DJ pushed out of the soundsystem. We've got the recording from his live performance at SónarDome as an exclusive stream for one week, and it's embedded below along with a tracklist. Enjoy. [via XLR8R]

因為人跟本不在英國，所以也無緣參與4/2 Numbers主辦邀來Martyn、Rustie、Brackles、Scuba、Sigha、D-Bridge和Instra:mental等人在Fabriclive辦得活動，不過還好Jackmaster（Glasgow音樂廠牌Numbers的領導人）昨天在Dummy和Mad Decent兩個網站裡都有他精彩的Mixtape出現，在Dummy接受訪問並提供了Jackmaster的90年代House Music精選Dummy Mix 29，另外在Mad Decent裡Jackmaster獻出混合著UK Funky/Future Garage/Dubstep等現今英國最BIG的精彩Mix，當中也因為Jackmaster身為廠牌負責人的好處，可以聽到些還未發行的音樂作品。
