Following months of courting, waking up in the middle of the night in cold sweats, and idle chit chat, Modular is very proud to announce that Sydney duo Bag Raiders are now a part of the Modular premiere league. Bag Raiders new single, Shooting Stars is the first release in Modular's new collaboration with The Bang Gang Deejays in-house label, Bang Gang 12 Inches, and will be out August 14.

Shooting Stars is the kind of blissful dance floor epiphany usually associated with the French, an ecstatic track that teases and builds to the kind of hands in the air love-in that's been the certified secret weapon of discerning DJ's for some months, and it's now time for the rest of us to join the throng. The single comes correct with remixes by Kris Menace, Siriusmo, In Flagranti and Shazam, and a video directed by New York upstart Ron Winter.

The Presets將從Apocalypso中取出If I Know You作為下一張單曲發行，Video也早在幾天前曝光，而透過Modular再進一步得知新單曲的訊息，將會收錄UK House DJ Tom Middleton，以色列Techno DJ Chaim，前Depeche Mode、Yazoo、Erasure製作Vince Clarke，Tania & Jori Hulkkonen的Cover版本以及The Presets的Alternate Version。

另外Modular也釋出了由英國Itlao Disco Duo Heartbreak製作的混音mp3下載。

Ladyhawke訂在下個月重新發行去年曾發過的單曲Paris Is Burning，目前得知將會收錄了些新的混音版本有來自Matthew Dekay、Simmons & Christopher、Funkagenda、Alex Metric和Innerpartysystem這幾位，而其中有幾首上星期已經在英國BBC的廣播節目中陸續曝光，如果錯過了這裡倒是有Matthew Dekay、Funkagenda和Alex Metric的可以聽看看。

Modular的Cut Copy和DFA的Hercules and Love Affair這兩個團都在今年有很好的評價，尤其是Hercules and Love Affair的變性人讓我相當驚艷，在11月底Modular將會數位發行由Hercules and Love Affair混音自Cut Copy的新單曲Far Away。

有一陣子沒有將別人寄來的歌拿上來了幫忙宣傳，大抵是收到的歌大部份是自己沒有很喜歡的，要不然就是其他知名mp3 blog上也都已經貼過了，不過今早收到的一個來自布魯克林的Remixer ddpesh所混音自Cut Copy的單曲Far Away，因為還不錯就丟出來。

The Bang Gang Deejays are renown for laying down club rub after club rub to the point where everyone simultaneously experiences a dance climax and the rafters rattle with the heaving bodily mass of a thousand people loosing their minds.
