DFA去年最令人稱讚的發行應該就屬於Hercules & Love Affair的這張同名專輯，當中最有看頭的應當就是比真女人還女人的變性人Nomi Ruiz，在專輯裡她（他）的Vocal只有出現在Hercules' Theme和You Belong這兩首歌裡，如果和我一樣覺得她（他）唱的太少而感到不過癮，現在Nomi Ruiz了解到我們的需求，找了Hercules & Love Affair裡的夥伴Morgan Wiley（Keyboard）和Andrew Raposo（Bass）一同組成了玩Minimal Electro、R&B的新單位Deep Red，應該是去年底左右成立的，目前已有了兩首歌可聽。

另外相信喜歡Hercules & Love Affair的人，應該不會想錯過Morgan Wiley、Andrew Raposo與在Hercules & Love Affair裡負責Trumpet的Carter Yasutaki和目前來歷不明的女Vocal Tiffany Roth的另一四人新單位Midnight Magic。

Modular的Cut Copy和DFA的Hercules and Love Affair這兩個團都在今年有很好的評價，尤其是Hercules and Love Affair的變性人讓我相當驚艷，在11月底Modular將會數位發行由Hercules and Love Affair混音自Cut Copy的新單曲Far Away。

06年底發行專輯Disco Romance的Sally Shapiro，在當時這張專輯Disco Romance還有被一些知名雜誌選為年度專輯裡，但Italo-Disco這類型的音樂並沒有被炒起來，就在幾個月前Plan B還專欄介紹了Italians Do It Better這個玩Italo-Disco的廠牌，介紹了旗下Glass Candy、Chromatics還有忘了誰（自己去買來看或是去大強那裡翻閱），Italo-Disco這已經要開始風靡的音樂，怎麼可以不去聽，不知到要如何下手，可以去聽看看Hercules And Love Affair（DFA）或是來下載UK Italian Pop團Heartbreak剛在9月初替RA錄製的Podcast來體驗一下。
