早先接觸東京地下派對勢力的朋友，對Teenage Kicks這組極盡華麗之能事的單位絕對不陌生，
在東京曾與時尚名所Eliminator、CANNABIS、LOVELESS聯合舉辦過一場場兼具Electro、Dance rock風格結合強烈視覺的派對。
而旗下The Kicks DJs勢力亦相當龐大，其中領軍的便是有著蒙面恐怖分子造型、被譽為日本版The Bloody Beetroots的駭人雙DJ組Death Is Not My Aim。
以典型日系Techno的快速拼貼手法進行Indie-Electro / Nu-Disco / Indie-Rock激速拼貼，
此次DINMA將在ROC STAR軍團與The Lowbrows相繼造訪之後，再度顛覆台北舞場次文化圖像。

The Presets將從Apocalypso中取出If I Know You作為下一張單曲發行，Video也早在幾天前曝光，而透過Modular再進一步得知新單曲的訊息，將會收錄UK House DJ Tom Middleton，以色列Techno DJ Chaim，前Depeche Mode、Yazoo、Erasure製作Vince Clarke，Tania & Jori Hulkkonen的Cover版本以及The Presets的Alternate Version。
另外Modular也釋出了由英國Itlao Disco Duo Heartbreak製作的混音mp3下載。

即將在明天（10/25）澳洲地區發行The Bang Gang Deejays的D Is For Disco E Is For Dancing混音專輯，Modular趁著最後一天寄來The Presets新專輯Apocalypso裡的Kicking and Screaming並交由The Bang Gang Deejays進行混音的單曲來作最後一波宣傳，此曲也會收錄在D Is For Disco E Is For Dancing的CD2裡。

來自澳洲廠牌Modular在今年發行的幾張專輯絕對是今年必備品，Modular上半年發行Cut Copy和The Presets的第二張專輯都有不錯的評價，而將於4天後發行的Van She首張專輯V（已經在其樂隊MySpace裡開放全專輯曲目試聽直到8/9專輯止），然後下一波在9月也是發行首專輯的Ladyhawke，絕對可以讓Modular穩拿年度最佳廠牌的頭銜。

Ladyhawke的下一張單曲Paris Is Burning將會在月底發行，而日前公佈的新單曲Video也是找來了The Presets的This Boy's in Love同一位Dir. Capser Balslev來製作，接下來一、兩個月內如果有人想問我最期待誰的專輯發行那當然會是Ladyhawke跟Van She嘍，老實說今年ED Banger跟Kitsuné都沒有令人期待的東西，Cazals的專輯真的還好而已其實有單曲就可，Uffie如果能在今年發的那再來期待ED Banger，只能說Modular將會是今年最該要再好好留意的Label，亂扯了一堆來一下Peaches跟Kid Gloves Remix的Ladyhawke。

成員現在分別是Justin Sconza and Colin Yarck的芝加哥兩人組Walter Meego，將在5月27號美國發行他們的首專輯Voyager，在這要非常感謝美國SONYBMG提供的全專輯下載讓我能夠搶先聽到，Walter Meego的音樂還蠻有澳洲Label Modular的感覺，所以這對於喜歡The Presets、Cut Copy、Van She、Midnight Juggernauts和Chromeo的人來說應該也會想要來一下，在Walter Meego的專輯Voyager發行前，從5月20號開始到6月6號他們在全美會有12場演出跟The Presets一起，雖然在信中美國SONYBMG的人有提到說要給我票去看他們的Live並且還可採訪他們，但實在不確定他們知不知道我不在美國當地，難不成可以要求他們幫我出一下機票嗎？XD

Walter Meego is not a dude, but a duo. Justin Sconza and Colin Yarck, the heart and soul (respectively) of Walter Meego, are two rare suburban white boys who intuitively understand the subliminal power of synthy, salacious bass. Effervescent pop is Walter Meego’s specialty, and it flies out of speakers like a Pegasus riding a cheetah. The duo’s debut album, Voyager, is set for a May 27 release on the Almost Gold Recordings label.
Vocalist Justin Sconza has a voice that floats in and out of sounding like a mixture between Riff Raff from Rocky Horror Picture Show and a helium-sucking John Lennon. His voice is ear-pricking and ultimately exhilarating. Band backbone Colin Yarck is a knob-manipulating marvel.
Voyager is imbued with a cohesive appeal that belies most of the quirky, blippy, themey beat-driven albums of today. Album opener “Forever” channels The Cars and Nu Shooz (what??); “Wanna Be a Star” gives Underworld a wedgie; “Through a Keyhole” exhorts voyeurism, noir piano sounds, and paranoia; “Lost” punches fellow Chicagoan Green Velvet in the face.
