Video: Drew Lustman - Watch A Man Die

取自FaltyDL以本名Drew Lustman即將發表於Planet Mu廠牌的專輯The Crystal Cowboy內開頭曲Watch A Man Die，PV由先前合作過的Chris Shen包辦，影像取材自香港街景所推出的一支2分鐘序曲預覽。
The album opens with ‘Watch A Man Die’ which relives memories of mid-nineties drum & bass, weaving delicate melodies and smooth strings into brisk latticed drums.

來自英格蘭德文郡的Rosie Lowe在上月推出的一首新曲Who's That Girl加入了紐約低音舞曲製作FaltyDL的巧手將原本流行史詩般的作品改製成適合舞池化播放，並可於下方完整試聽。另外Rosie Lowe將計畫在今年透過Paul Epworth的Wolf Tone廠牌發行她的首專輯。

紐約低音舞曲製作FaltyDL將會以他的本名Drew Lustman回歸至Planet Mu廠牌發行首張專輯“The Crystal Cowboy”（專輯封面見上圖），其實早在去年FaltyDL在自營廠牌Blueberry裡邀請了4 Hero的Dego錄製及發表了一張12"後，Dego便禮尚往來的也邀請他來到的2000Black廠牌裡發表一張12" “A Thorough Study”當時就已使用了本名上陣。
The Crystal Cowboy的發行日期Planet Mu已確定將會是在下個月的4月20號，其中所收錄在內的11首曲目也已經公佈（如下）。

歌聲及體重都很難不讓人拿來與Adele作聯想的英倫靈魂藍調女歌手Alice Russel，但這Part不重要，而是單曲Heartbreaker今日透過名廠牌Tru Thoughts發行並收錄有來自紐約Dubstep/House製作FaltyDL的慢板2 step/Garage混音。

早前曾收錄於法國店鋪colette在今年五月份發行的colette No. 10合輯內一首FaltyDL交由Jamie xx（Jamie Smith of The xx）混音的Hip Love，已準備與Hip Love原曲一同交由Ramp Recordings作12“發行，此混音版本自己當然早已透過好友B君的協助下私藏許久。

以2009年的一首單曲If U Want Me（正式發行於2010年Numbers廠牌）獲得UK音樂雜誌DJmag Best of British 2010提名於BEST DANCE SINGLE獎項的Future-Garage/2-Step/Post-Dubstep Producer Deadboy，他個人的最新混音單曲作品取自於Scuba（Hotflush Recordings）發行於今年3月份的首張專輯Triangulation內的ㄧ曲Before，此首混音單曲也已連同FaltyDL、Joe、Deadbeat等其他混音曲收錄於Scuba剛再度發行的Triangulation精裝版本內，這個時候才買真的比較聰明。

Mount Kimbie Remixes PT.1

Mount Kimbies找來五組Dubstep producer有FaltyDL、James Blake、Instra:Mental、Tama Sumo & Prosumer、SCB準備將09年於Scuba自家廠牌Hotflush發行過的兩張單曲Maybes、Sketch On Glass從中挑出五首來各自製作混音版本，將會收錄在4月底發行的兩張EP Remixes Part 1 & Remixes Part 2內，自己真的是非常愛Mount Kimbies這兩人單位，尤其是今年他們幫LV & Untold在三月發行的單曲Beacon內所製作的混音版本直接是入主我當月最佳單曲，當然在自己的Mixtape裡都會放上Mount Kimbies的音樂或是混音。
下面的試聽各來自Remixes Part 1裡由紐約Dubstep Producer FaltyDL與英國隸屬於Hemlock Recordings的James Blake兩人的混音版本。

收錄在The xx新單曲Island Remixes五首混音中除了Nosaj Thing和FaltyDL已先行曝光外，剩下就屬Hemlock Recordings主事者Untold的版本是自己也相當期待的另一首，除了製作The xx的混音單曲外Untold近期和Cooly G也都出現在Pop歌手Ke$ha的一曲Tik Tok單曲混音內，原曲可以不聽但Untold和Cooly G的版本可不能錯過。

The xx即將要發行的新單曲Island Remixes，除了先前由Nosaj Thing自行公佈的版本外，收錄在碟末曲由紐約dubstep/2step Producer Drew Lustman aka FaltyDL所進行操刀的混音版本也於剛剛釋出，至於其他也會收錄在內的混音（尤其是Untold的版本）應該也不會等太久了。

The xx的新單曲Island雖然已發行了一陣子，但剛剛在逛Boomkat的時候剛好發現幾個小時之後的2010年的2月份會找來Untold、FaltyDL、Nosaj Thing、The Blue Nile以及Delorean等人前來製作再發行的Island Remixes單曲（目前看來只有Digital的版本），現在能找到的只有來自L.A.的亞裔Producer Nosaj Thing aka Jason Chung的混音版本可試聽，其他如Untold和FaltyDL的版本也都真的很令人期待。
